Panel surya (juga modul surya, modul fotovoltaik, atau panel fotovoltaik) adalah kumpulan sel-sel fotovoltaik yang terhubung dan dikemas. Panel surya dapat digunakan sebagai komponen sistem fotovoltaik yang lebih besar untuk menghasilkan dan memasok listrik dalam aplikasi komersial dan perumahan. Setiap panel diberi nilai daya output DC-nya di bawah kondisi pengujian standar, dan biasanya rentang panel menentukan luas panel yang memberikan tingkat output yang sama - panel 230 watt yang efisien 8% akan memiliki dua kali luas panel panel 230 watt efisien 16% . Karena satu panel surya hanya dapat menghasilkan daya dalam jumlah terbatas, sebagian besar instalasi mengandung banyak panel. Suatu sistem fotovoltaik biasanya meliputi susunan panel surya, inverter, dan kadang-kadang baterai dan atau pelacak tenaga surya dan kabel interkoneksi.
